By subscribing to or using the Penarc platform (https://app.penarc.ai), you agree to the terms of this Refund and Cancellation Policy.
1. The 14-Day Free Demo Period
We offer a 14-day free demo/trial period for new users upon request. This period is specifically designed to give your team full access to evaluate Penarc’s features, including AI-generated reporting, the vulnerability content library, and Jira integrations, completely risk-free.
We strongly encourage all prospective clients to utilize this 14-day window to ensure the platform meets your operational requirements before committing to a paid subscription.
2. Subscription Upgrades and Billing
Once your 14-day free demo expires, your access will be paused unless you explicitly choose to upgrade to a paid subscription. We will never automatically charge you at the end of a demo unless you have specifically entered your billing details and opted into an active subscription plan.
Upon upgrading, your billing cycle (monthly or annually) begins immediately, and you will be charged the agreed-upon rate based on your selected plan and user count.
3. General Refund Policy
Because we provide a comprehensive 14-day free demo for evaluation prior to purchase, Penarc generally does not offer refunds for active subscriptions.
- Monthly Subscriptions: We do not provide refunds or credits for partial months of service, unused time, or unused licenses.
- Annual Subscriptions: We do not provide prorated refunds for the remaining months if you choose to cancel your annual subscription before the end of your contract term.
All payments made to Penarc are final and non-refundable, except as legally required or as explicitly outlined in Section 5 below.
4. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your Penarc subscription at any time.
If you choose to cancel, your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current paid billing cycle (whether monthly or annual). You will retain full access to the Service and all your User Data until the end of that billing period. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel your subscription prior to your renewal date.
To cancel your subscription, you may do so through the billing settings within your platform dashboard, or by contacting your account manager directly.
5. Exceptions and Billing Errors
We understand that administrative errors occasionally happen. Penarc may, at its sole and absolute discretion, issue a refund, credit, or discount in the following exceptional circumstances:
Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a technical glitch or an error on our part, we will refund the exact amount of the overcharge.
Service Outages: In the event of severe, prolonged, and documented service disruptions that violate our Master Services Agreement (MSA), credits may be issued in accordance with those specific contract terms.
If you believe you have been billed in error, you must contact our support team within 30 days of the charge date to request a review.
6. Changes to this Policy
Penarc reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. If the changes significantly affect your active subscription, we will notify you via email or through an alert in the Penarc platform.
